Also called "killer bees." More aggressive than European honey bees and will defend their hive vigorously.
Solitary bees that bore holes in wood. Males are territorial but cannot sting. Females can sting but rarely do.

When possible, we relocate honey bee colonies to local beekeepers. However, Africanized bees and certain situations require removal for safety.
